Titled “ROI-NJ Influencers Power List 2024: Law,” the list “aims to honor the lawyers in New Jersey that have the most influence on business issues and transactions,” according to the media outlet. The list includes attorneys “selected by the editorial board of ROI-NJ based on opinions of business and government leaders, nominations and [the publication’s] editorial judgment.”

Tim Corriston, Connell Foley’s Managing Partner, was recognized for his “strategic approach to managing the firm,” which “includes development of the next generation of lawyers, and a focus on the firm’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity Initiative.”

ROI-NJ described Bill Castner, Chair of the firm’s Regulatory and Compliance practice, as “well-known throughout the state in the highest level of politics and government” and “a fierce advocate for reforming guns laws, serving as key adviser on the issue with governor.”

The publication wrote that Nevins McCann is “recognized as one of the leading real estate attorneys in Jersey City and along the Gold Coast,” and noted that “McCann has been on the front lines of state’s legal and political landscape for many years.”

ROI-NJ described Connell Foley partner Phil McGovern, as “a savvy transactional attorney, concentrating primarily on commercial real estate and corporate transactions, and complex commercial financing.”

ROI-NJ noted that compiling the list required culling through the ranks of “hundreds of firms around the state [of New Jersey] practicing in dozens of areas.”
