Overview
Nikki Alieva represents clients in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts. She represents business owners, entities, boards, and their executives in all aspects of daily operations and business disputes, including issues related to contracts, joint venture, labor and employment, real estate, construction, and insurance.
In addition, Nikki regularly represents developers, general contractors, business owners, and subcontractors in personal injury and property damage matters arising from claims of failure to maintain, construction defects, violations of New York Labor Law, and negligence. Her background includes all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, deposing witnesses, mediations, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlements. She takes pride in understanding the legal and factual background of each matter and tailoring her client’s claim and litigation strategy accordingly.
Nikki represents both public and private sector employers and management before federal and state courts as well as alternative dispute resolution forums. Her practice encompasses defending clients against claims of discrimination based on gender, age, disability, or national origin; alleged violations of equal pay and wage and hour regulations; and cases involving retaliation and wrongful termination.
Prior to joining the firm, Nikki was an associate with a medical malpractice defense firm representing physicians, nurses, and hospitals. She also has experience conducting hearings in front of administrative law judges as part of her role as an attorney with the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission.
