USCIS Closes FY2018 H-1B Processing

On July 19th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has returned all cap-subject H-1B petitions for fiscal year 2018 that were not selected in the H-1B lottery for this year.  If you submitted an H-1B petition and do not receive either a Receipt or Rejection Notice by July 31st, USCIS encourages you to contact it for assistance.

If you are interested in exploring alternatives to the H-1B, please see the New Jersey Law Journal article entitled "Your H-1B Petition Was Not Selected in the H-1B Lottery, Now What?" authored by Michael J.P. Schewe.
